Michael Jason Cross a.k.a. DJ~Tejaran~ [“Te” – Greek prefix for connected or music; “jaran” – male Arabic name for ally] began his music career at the age of 20 having read a Mixmag article describing the basics to this traditional art form. Inspired by the likes of Sasha and Digweed, Anthony Pappa and other great artists, he quickly developed and honed his skills in this traditional sense and was playing shows within three weeks as a resident at local venues.

DJ~Tejaran~ displays captivating and uplifting performances through his eclectic programming and unique techniques of effects utilization. His passion towards music can create a surreal and electrifying atmosphere of deep pounding grooves in a polarized electronic symphony.

As the founder and organizer of the Ethereal Underground project, he has brought added relief to his local community via canned food drives and fundraising. His annual Peace and Unity Festivals in Durango, CO, focused on universal acceptance, spiritual uplifting as well as helping Annie’s Orphans, a local no-kill dog shelter.Ethereal Underground is a community project dedicated to expanding global consciousness and providing social relief programs in local communities while imbuing spiritual uplifting vibrational frequencies in EDM performances featuring Progressive House DJs.

His recent producing efforts has landed him on the popular Bonzai Progressive Label alongside some the leading International Artists in the industry.
